City of Abilene

My career took another shift when I accepted a new role with the Communications & Marketing Department at the City of Abilene, TX in April 2023.

So far, we developed highly curated digital content and next level messaging for the city organization. Brand development has also been a primary focus.

social media strategy

One of our first goals was to dive into the City of Abilene's digital media presence and elevate goals on how to best utilize the platforms and engage with available audiences.

This led to a more aggressive approach at developing relateable, sharable content focused on human interest, humor, and relevant education and information.

Below is some of the content we developed as a part of this strategy.

brand strategy

Much effort and resources have been dedicated to research and development on creating a cohesive brand strategy for the City of Abilene, TX.

Initially, this effort began in conjunction with the overall digital media goals estabilished for the entirety of the organization.

What has resulted out of many months of testing and workshopping is a message that aligns with the organization's existing mission statement.

We work together to build and maintain a community of the highest quality for present and future generations.

This message has been debuted as a theme at the 2024 State of the City address.

Design collaboration with Jill D'Entremont.
