Oversees the distribution of news and multimedia content for the city organization across various digital platforms and external media outlets. Working alongside the Communications Director, guides collaborators to create content while monitoring, editing, and approving content for distribution. Additionally, manages correspondence with the public on social and digital media platforms and assists in handling requests from external media. Assists in writing news releases.

Organized production and content delivery for three evening broadcasts for the ABC-TV affiliate in Abilene, TX. Developed and debuted a two-hour morning show. Regularly produced special newscasts, debates, election specials, and town halls.

Interim Assignments Manager | July 2014-September 2014

Approved reporter pitches, assisted reporters in developing stories, and worked closely with lead producers for three television stations (KTAB, KRBC, and Telemundo Abilene). The unique part of this experience was leading three stations without the presence of a News Director.

Produced a lifestyle show, including feature pieces, corresponding live shots, live interviews, and production management. Managed reporter scripts and social media content for three stations. Wrote breaking news for three stations.
